DomainNameInDispute is a new mainstream digital publication with an emphasis on, but not limited to technology, arts, and lifestyle. This publication has been planned for years, fully functional prototype developed in January, and launch has been delayed since February due to both “civil fraud” and “civil conspiracy” connected to a domain name dispute. Someone is obstructing justice while we are still seeking legal representation.
DomainNameInDispute is powered by a new Content Management System (CMS), which is an upgraded version of the Weed Connection CMS. Additionally, the new CMS and DomainNameInDispute are integrated with innovative new media and video publishing technology. We are always producing, publishing, and expanding @RussellRope and @WeedConnection.
Welcome to the official blog of Russell Rope (Productions). RRP Blog is a custom Word Press blog, which was designed and partially developed by Russell Rope. Much deserved credit to the Word Press team as well as the developers of various plug-ins used. Combined with some serious skillz, this uber dynamic blog is a semantic publishing wizard. Russell Rope has maintained several blogs over the years, but this is the best and most content rich. This blog was launched or “relaunched” as an intermediary between Weed Connection and our new and unreleased mainstream digital publication.
Russell Rope developed the Weed Connection Content Management System, which is comprised of ten separate Flex applications. The CMS publishes and syndicates each section of the WeedConnection.com website. The scalable front end was developed mostly in Flex with MXML and ActionScript while the backend was developed in PHP, SQL, XML, RSS, XHTML, and CSS. Basically, the CMS generates search engine optimized content pages, updates site navigation linked to those pages, and also updates the RSS feeds.
WeedConnection.com is your source for medical and recreational cannabis infotainment. It is designed, developed, produced, and published by Russell Rope. Originally developed as a static site with intent of being upgraded to dynamic and database driven, WeedConnection.com launched in 2006 and was CMS integrated by the end of 2007. Weed Connection and its related web properties have been evolving since before public launch and there are serious plans for future development, production, and expansion.
Russell Rope was Online Editor (+basically Online Creative & Technical Director) @ The Campus Press, which was the University Newspaper. After designing, developing, and launching the site, Russell developed a system for the editors to submit content through PHP/HTML forms. It was still a time consuming task to publish submissions to the site. Automating the publishing of content was solved when RRP developed the WC CMS.
Russell Rope was the Technical & Creative Director for this online magazine, which was part of an experimental upper level digital newsroom course in the school(university) of journalism and mass communications. This project was rebranded, but continued from the prior year.
