Always evolving @ RRP++ @RussellRope just put in about 400 more hours of straight development, plus some design, mostly for WeedConnection.com, but also including some work on both RussellRope.com and our new mainstream digital publication, which has yet to be launched. Click here for more details.
Russell Rope developed the Weed Connection Content Management System, which is comprised of ten separate Flex applications. The CMS publishes and syndicates each section of the WeedConnection.com website. The scalable front end was developed mostly in Flex with MXML and ActionScript while the backend was developed in PHP, SQL, XML, RSS, XHTML, and CSS. Basically, the CMS generates search engine optimized content pages, updates site navigation linked to those pages, and also updates the RSS feeds.
Russell Rope was Online Editor (+basically Online Creative & Technical Director) @ The Campus Press, which was the University Newspaper. After designing, developing, and launching the site, Russell developed a system for the editors to submit content through PHP/HTML forms. It was still a time consuming task to publish submissions to the site. Automating the publishing of content was solved when RRP developed the WC CMS.
RRP designed and developed a winning W.A.V.E. Campaign for University Tri-Exec Presidents.
